Changes to Energy provisions will transition after the 30th April 2020 - read more at the ABCB website. The ABCB have released information following the NCC 2019 regulatations coming in to effect on May 1st 2019.
"For NCC 2019 a 12 month transitional period, ending 30 April 2020, applies to the energy efficiency provisions in Section J of Volume One and Parts 2.6 and 3.12 of Volume Two.
During this time either the new NCC 2019 provisions or those from NCC 2016 may be used."
Until then, designers may be guided by the ABCB Handbook revised in response to the NCC 2019 changes.
