Approvals are valid for twelve months (or six months for a demolition). A Form 57 may be sent out three months before these deadlines to give notice of a lapsing approval. Once the final inspection has been completed and outstanding certificates received, compiled forms including the Form 21 (Finalisation Certificate) will be issued to the council and the owner.
